Ep 5. Beyond fight or flight: A dive into your nervous system states.

Did you know your current mental state is reflected by the state your nervous system is in? This episode explains how and why your nervous system moves in and out of these different states using the polyvagal theory. Here are some terms so you don't get lost:

Regulation (ventral vagal)- Parasympathetic nervous system.

Fight/flight- Sympathetic nervous system.
